Ensuring long-term water safety in Tunisia

In order to manage water fairly, sustainably and efficiently, the African Water Facility (AWF) has approved a grant of 1.4 million euros to Tunisia. This donation will be used to implement the project entitled “Development of the vision and strategy of the water sector by 2050.” This project will take an integrated management approach on resources to contribute to the country’s socioeconomic development.

African Water Facility and African Development Bank at World Water Week: Water for all by 2030

The African Water Facility and the African Development Bank (AfDB) are participating in World Water Week, in Stockholm (Sweden) from 29 August to 2 September. This year’s edition holds under the theme Water for Sustainable Growth. The World Water Week is the leading annual global event for tackling global water issues and development related challenges.
